A Point Pad is the control panel at your helm station. With it, you turn the searchlight on and off, rotate and tilt the beam, select the rotation speed, and engage the XRCiZ maintenance function.
What is the difference between a Point Pad and a master controller?
The master controller is the box that manages power and control, which you mount out of sight. The Point Pad is the control panel that you interact with directly. You need both.
Can I connect multiple control stations?
Yes. Multiple Point Pads can be connected to the same master controller via coax cable. Keep the total coax length limited to approximately 90 meters.
Does this work on 12 or 24 volts?
On both. The URP-102 Point Pad operates on 12 or 24 volts DC, which is compatible with almost every onboard electrical system.
