What exactly does a Point Pad do?
A Point Pad is the control panel at your helm station. Use it to turn the searchlight on and off, rotate and tilt the beam, select rotation speed, and engage the XRCiZ maintenance function.
What is the difference between a Point Pad and a master controller?
The master controller is the box that regulates power and control, which you mount out of sight. The Point Pad is the control panel you actually use. You need both.
Can I connect multiple control stations?
Yes. Multiple Point Pads can be connected to the same master controller via coaxial cable. Keep the total coax length limited to about 90 meters.
Does this work on 12 or 24 volts?
Both. The URP-102 Point Pad works on 12 or 24 volts DC, fitting almost any onboard power system.
