What exactly does a Point Pad do?
A Point Pad is the control panel at your helm. You use it to turn the searchlight on and off, rotate and tilt the beam, select the rotation speed, and switch on the XRCiZ maintenance function.
What is the difference between a Point Pad and a master controller?
The master controller is the box that regulates power and control, which you mount out of sight. The Point Pad is the control panel that you actually use. You need both.
Can I connect multiple control points?
Yes. Multiple Point Pads can be connected to the same master controller via coaxial cable. Keep the total coaxial length limited to approximately 90 meters.
Does this work on 12 or 24 volts?
Both. The URP-102 Point Pad works on 12 or 24 volt DC, which fits almost every onboard power system.
