The ACR Point Pad kit 9282.3 sets up a second control station for RCL-50 and RCL-100 searchlights. Contains one URP-102 Point Pad, a two-way splitter, four F-connectors, and approximately 4.5 meters of coaxial cable.

Everything to set up a second control station on board
This ACR Point Pad kit is intended to set up a second control station for your searchlight. Unlike the standalone panel, this set contains everything you need for this purpose: a URP-102 Point Pad, a two-way splitter, four F-connectors, and about 4.5 meters of coaxial cable.

A second control station is more practical on many vessels than it seems. On a motor yacht with an interior helm station and a flybridge, it means you can operate the searchlight from wherever you are at that moment. On a workboat, the second station can be at the workspace on the aft deck. The splitter in this kit distributes the signal between both stations. Note the same limitation as with the standalone panel: cannot be combined with the older URC-100 master controller.

Why choose the URP-102 Point Pad kit?

  • Complete second control station: panel, splitter, connectors, and cable in one set
  • Two-way splitter included: distributes the signal between two control stations
  • Approximately 4.5 meters of coax included: sufficient for most installations within a single area
  • Surface or flush mount: cover plate for flush mounting is included with the panel
  • No separate searching: you do not need to order connectors or cable separately

Who is this product made for?

Intended for vessels with two helm positions or with a workspace where the searchlight also needs to be operated. Frequently chosen for motor yachts with a flybridge, for workboats, and for charter vessels. Also practical if you frequently use the light from the aft deck.

What are the benefits for you?

  • Operation from where you are: no running back and forth to the helm station
  • Everything in one order: panel, splitter, connectors, and cable
  • Quick to install: the included length is sufficient for most situations
  • Original part: made for this searchlight series

Frequently asked questions

What does a Point Pad do exactly?

A Point Pad is the control panel at your helm station. With it, you turn the searchlight on and off, rotate and tilt the beam, select the rotation speed, and activate the XRCiZ maintenance function.

What is the difference between a Point Pad and a master controller?

"

The master controller is the box that regulates power and control and which you mount out of sight. The Point Pad is the control panel that you interact with yourself. You need both.

Can I connect multiple control stations?

"

Yes. Multiple Point Pads can be connected to the same master controller via coaxial cable. Keep the total coax length limited to approximately 90 meters.

Does this work on 12 or 24 volt?

"

On both. The URP-102 Point Pad works on 12 or 24 volt DC, which matches almost any onboard power system.

What is the difference from the standalone Point Pad 1928.3?

"

In addition to the panel, this kit also contains a two-way splitter, four F-connectors, and approximately 4.5 meters of coaxial cable. The standalone Point Pad 1928.3 does not include these parts, so you would have to order cable and connectors separately for that.
