The ACR RCL-600A is the most powerful searchlight in the ACR series, providing 6,000,000 candela from a 150-watt xenon lamp. Operation is via a joystick panel. Switchable from floodlight to spotlight. Operates on 24 volts.
Six million candela, the most powerful searchlight in the ACR series
The ACR RCL-600A is the top model. A 150-watt xenon lamp with a parabolic reflector delivers six million candela, putting it in a category where you are no longer talking about docking in the dark, but about illuminating an area from a distance.
What makes this light special is the adjustable beam. You can easily switch between a wide floodlight mode, which illuminates a large area, and a narrow spotlight mode that concentrates the light for maximum reach. You search wide, and as soon as you spot something, you tighten the beam to distinguish it.
Control is handled via a dedicated joystick panel. This is a deliberate choice for a light of this size: a joystick allows for smooth, precise control, whereas buttons only provide fixed steps. The light operates on 24 volts.
Why choose the RCL-600A searchlight?
6,000,000 candela: the most powerful searchlight in the ACR range
150-watt xenon lamp: with parabolic reflector for high light output
From floodlight to spotlight: search wide and then tighten the beam for range
Joystick control: smooth aiming instead of steering with buttons
For 24-volt systems: suitable for larger vessels with a 24-volt onboard power supply
Who is this product for?
This light is intended for vessels where searching and illuminating from a distance is part of the job. Think of emergency services, pilot boats, tugboats, large fishing vessels, and mega yachts. For most pleasure craft, this is more light than necessary, and in that case, the RCL-95 or the RCL-300A is a more sensible choice, both in terms of price and the load on your onboard power supply.
What are the benefits for you?
You illuminate an area, not just a point: in floodlight mode, you see a large surface
And you see far: in spotlight mode, the light concentrates for maximum reach
Precise aiming: with the joystick, you steer smoothly instead of in steps
Built for professional use: the top model among ACR searchlights

Frequently asked questions
What does switching from floodlight to spotlight mean?
In floodlight mode, the light spreads wide and illuminates a large area. In spotlight mode, the beam becomes narrow and the light carries much further. This allows you to search broadly first and then look in a focused manner.
Does this searchlight work on 12 volts?
No. The RCL-600A operates on 24 volts. If you have a 12-volt system, take a look at the RCL-300A or the LED models, which can handle 12 to 24 volts.
Is this light suitable for a pleasure craft?
It is possible, but for most pleasure craft, it is significantly more light than necessary and demands a lot from your onboard power supply. The RCL-95 LED or the RCL-300A are usually more appropriate.
