The ACR HemiLight 3 is an automatic life jacket light that you can attach to almost any type of life jacket. If you end up in the water, the light will automatically start flashing. This works in both fresh and salt water, including rivers and lakes.
Two things have been cleverly resolved. The light is smaller than most approved alternatives and features rounded edges. The latter is more important than it seems: with an inflatable life jacket, a sharp edge can damage the air bladder, and rounded edges prevent this. Attachment takes seconds and the mounting loops fit around webbing up to five centimeters wide.
The light flashes for more than 20 hours and meets USCG, MED and SOLAS requirements. You can switch it off by pressing the red button, for example after a drill or if the jacket has accidentally become wet. This version with part number 3764.1 is the retail-packaged version.
