Protects your ResQLink and helps it float This floating protective pouch from ACR is designed for the ResQLink emergency beacons. The beacon is protected from scratches and bumps while inside, and the pouch helps the device stay on the surface if it falls into the water.
The ResQLink has built-in buoyancy, but in practice, a small black device can easily disappear from sight in choppy water. A pouch makes the unit larger and more visible, while also protecting the beacon from the wear and tear of a backpack or vest pocket throughout the rest of the year. Keep in mind that a ResQLink does not float in a transmitting position: you must keep it above water or attach it to your life jacket in order to transmit.
Why choose the ResQLink floating pouch?
Protects against wear: scratches and bumps in a backpack or vest pocket
Helps it float: the beacon stays on the surface if you drop it
