If your cable runs through an area that can get wet, such as along an open cockpit, across a flybridge, or through an open helm station, then this waterproof version is the right choice. If everything remains indoors and dry, then the flat version is sufficient.

Can I keep my RCL-75 working?
Yes. As long as parts are available, repairing is usually more cost-effective than replacing. If the light itself needs replacing, the RCL-50 LED and RCL-95 LED are the current successors.
