Simrad HS75 GNSS Compass

High-performance satellite-based compass sensor with GNSS heading determination and NMEA 2000 output.
The HS75 is a satellite-controlled GNSS compass sensor that provides accurate heading determination without calibration or sensitivity to magnetic interference. By using multiple satellites via a dual-GNSS design, the HS75 determines not only position but also heading based on satellite phase measurements. This provides highly reliable heading information for autopilots, radar stabilization, and navigation systems.

The HS75 connects directly to the NMEA 2000 network and can also provide Ethernet data to compatible Simrad MFDs.

Why choose the HS75?

  • GNSS-based heading: accurate heading without magnetic sensitivity.
  • No calibration needed: immediate deployment without magnetic adjustment.
  • Dual-GNSS technology: multiple satellites for maximum reliability.
  • NMEA 2000 and Ethernet output: full integration with the Simrad network.
  • External mounting: optimal satellite reception.

Who is this product for?

The HS75 is intended for recreational boaters and commercial mariners who want maximum accuracy in heading determination, without being dependent on magnetic compasses. Suitable for autopilot systems, radar stabilization, and MFDs on any boat where dynamic magnetic environments make magnetic compasses unreliable.

What does it offer you?

  • Stable autopilot: accurate heading input without magnetic noise.
  • No more calibration needed: ready to use immediately after installation.
  • Radar stabilization: better target tracking thanks to precise heading.
  • Network-wide availability: heading data shareable via NMEA 2000.
  • Independent of metallic environment: ideal for boats with a lot of metal.
