Solid-state pulse compression radar with Doppler technology for excellent short and long-range target detection.
The HALO20+ is a 20-inch radome radar from Simrad's plus series. It combines pulse compression technology with Doppler detection, allowing both approaching targets and stationary objects to be immediately distinguishable on screen. The radar has a range of up to 36 nautical miles (66 km) and simultaneously provides a detailed short-range view thanks to a very short minimum range of just 6 meters.
The HALO20+ starts instantly without warm-up time and uses significantly less power than classic magnetron radars. In combination with a Simrad NSS, NSO, NSX or GO multifunction display, this radar offers professional situational awareness on any boat.
