Summer is just around the corner: time to truly get your sailboat summer-ready. A thorough B&G system check prevents technical surprises, increases your sailing enjoyment, and gives you confidence on the water.

1️⃣ Hardware check: screen, buttons, cables & display
- Touchscreen & buttons: Do they respond smoothly, even with wet fingers? Check in bright sunlight if the backlight is bright enough.
- Connectivity: Check NMEA2000 and Ethernet cables, connectors, and power supply – no corrosion, tightly mounted.
- Glass-to-edge display: no bezel, dead pixels or sun distortion (eg with Zeus SR).
- IP cameras: test whether live images are correctly received via the B&G Companion App.
